Cindy McManis, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Cindy McManis is 1 of 9 board certified feline practitioners in the state of Texas. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 1985. She has served on several veterinary boards including the Montgomery County Veterinary Medical Association, the Academy of Feline Medicine, the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners as well as mentoring veterinarians interested in achieving ABVP certification.

Todd Hayden, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Todd Hayden received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in May, 2005. Post graduation, he was invited by the faculty at OSU to participate in an anesthesia and pain management internship. As an intern, he taught senior students and managed anesthetic cases for both the large and small animal services.

Dr. Hayden’s passion is feline medicine and surgery. He received the Birch Scholarship for Feline Medicine and the American Association of Feline Practitioners Senior Student Award. He was vice president of the student chapter of the American Association of Feline Practitioners for 2 years. During this time he coordinated activities for speakers and laboratories for students interested in pursuing careers in feline medicine and surgery.

Prior to veterinary school Dr. Hayden served for 4 years in the United States Marine Corps with Marine Barracks Japan and “A” Co. 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. Dr. Hayden has 4 cats and is excited to join the team at Just Cats Veterinary Services.

Jennifer, Registered Veterinary Technician

Jennifer graduated from the Tomball College Veterinary Technology program in 2004 and received her Registered Veterinary Technician status in the fall of the same year. She is a cat lover and has four cats ranging in ages from 2- to 8-years old. She enjoys traveling, shopping, collecting, and going to the movies. Her future plans include returning to school to earn her Bachelor's degree in business.

Rayna, Registered Veterinary Technician

Since August 2007, Rayna has been working as a technician at JCVS. With over 9 years of experience in the field, Rayna has worked for both corporate and private practices while completing her veterinary technician training at Miami Dade College. She and her husband returned to their home state of Texas in 2007 after living and studying in Miami for 5 years. Rayna has four cats Winkie, Dobie, Sobe and Spaeder. She enjoys cooking and reading and intends to work towards earning a degree in biology.

Rhonda, Registered Veterinary Technician

Rhonda has earned her status of Registered Veterinary Technician in 1991 and has been working for JCVS since 1993. She is the proud mother of three children and has been blessed with a beautiful granddaughter. Rhonda is board certified as a veterinary technician specialist in small animal internal medicine. She is dedicated to staying current on all new treatment protocols and treatment plans to ensure your cat receives top quality care throughout its life.

Laura

Laura has been with Just Cats since January 2000. Laura is working on her management certification through AAHA. She and her husband are true animal lovers and share their home with a wide assortment of pets. In her spare time, she is actively involved in house rabbit rescue.

Jenn, Receptionist

Jenn has been a receptionist with JCVS since April 2004 and has been calling Texas home since 2005. She and her husband are the parents of Frost, a 3-year old blue cross-eyed white feline and Jacob, a 9-year old golden retriever. They do enjoy playing together. Jenn enjoys reading, playing cards, spending time with family and friends, and laughing. Her future goals include continuing her college education, learning more about her community and becoming a better person.

Lorena, Receptionist

Lorena is the newest edition to the JCVS family. She is married and has two beautiful daughters. Lorena has one cat named Bubbles. Outside of work, Lorena enjoys outdoor activities and shopping. Because of her passion for cats, she likes working at JCVS where she can contribute to the love and care of felines.

Paula, Certified Veterinary Assistant

Paula has started working with JCVS in January 2007. She moved to Texas from Ohio in 2006. In all, Paula has worked in the veterinary field for 26 years and has experience in both hospital and emergency medicine. She and her husband enjoy life with their two children and four grandchildren.

Corinda, Certified Veterinary Assistant

Corinda has been a member of the JCVS team since September 2004. She came to JCVS with experience in small animal medicine and emergency care. She is currently taking courses to increase her certification. Corinda is married and has four wonderful children and a "menagerie" of assorted pets.
