Easter Lillies are Toxic to Cats

As the weather warms and we
bring spring flowers into our homes, we at Just Cats Veterinary Services want
to remind you that Easter Lilies are potentially deadly to cats. All parts of
the plant are toxic, and fatal poisoning can occur following ingestion of just
one leaf. Signs may include vomiting, loss of appetite and depression. Please
avoid any type of lily in homes with cats. If you suspect your cat may have
ingested any part of a lily plant, please seek immediate veterinary care.
